Delivery Information

Garment Delivery Times

1)  ‘Off the shelf’ size garments will take up to six weeks to arrive with UK customers, international customers will take slightly longer due to the postal service. This time may need to increase in busy periods and time scales will be given.

2)  ‘Made to measure’ or custom made garments will take up to 8 weeks to arrive with UK customers, international customers will take slightly longer due to the postal service. This time may need to increase in busy periods and time scales will be given.

3)  Garments ordered within the same order will be sent out at the same time. Therefore if a mixture of ‘off the shelf’ size pieces are ordered with ‘made to measure’ or custom made garments, they will all arrive in the same package, at the same time. If you would like to receive them separately you need to do two separate orders or contact Catriona Stewart Clothing to see if it’s possible to post the ‘off the shelf’ size garments sooner. This will incur an extra postage charge.

4)  Garments will be posted out to UK customers using Royal Mail 1pm Special Delivery if the order is valued at £50 or above, which usually arrives with the customer the day after posting. It may take longer as postal services cannot always be guaranteed but this service is one which has been found to be the most reliable. If the order value is less than £50 then it may be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded.

a.     If the garment needs to be sent to you on the Friday to arrive on the Saturday, you will incur extra charges due to the garment/s needing to be posted using Saturday 1pm Guaranteed. Please contact us directly for specific costs but it is around £5 more than the week day 1pm Special Delivery.

b.     These services aren’t guaranteed by Catriona Stewart Clothing, it is a service provided by the Royal Mail so any delays are not reimbursable by us. If you would like to approach Royal Mail for a reimbursement of the postage due to lateness please enquire with us about helping you with this. You will incur any extra charges such as postal costs, including recorded delivery, to send any receipts etc in to Royal Mail.

a.     International customers will have their garments posted out using Royal Mail Tracked & Signed For service, which is tracked continuously throughout its journey. The time frame for these deliveries can vary and can sometimes be held up at customs.

i.    Parcels will be marked as ‘clothing’ with the correct value you paid of the garments.

ii.    Your parcel may incur a customs charge from your home country, Catriona Stewart Clothing accepts no responsibility for this charge and isn’t liable to reimburse anyone due to this issue.

b.     If you require your garments by a certain date, please contact Catriona Stewart Clothing prior to purchase to see if it is possible to produce them for this time. It may not always be possible and if extra staffing hours are needed then this cost will be passed on to the customer, before the garments are produced. Any extra charges will be discussed with the customer before work is carried out, and these will be paid for in advance of the garments being produced.

c.     Customers will not be reimbursed by Catriona Stewart Clothing for garments arriving late due to the postal service

5)  If it becomes apparent from your order that the time frame for delivery needs to be extended, you will be contacted to check if this is going to be suitable for you. If this isn’t suitable then you can cancel your order and receive a full refund.
